I contacted JDV to install a 50 amp line for an electric range. The line had to pass behind a 13' set of built in cabinets and wooden countertop that could not be moved. The cabinets were on a cement slab at the back of our row home. There was a slight access on one side of the slab through the basement. It seemed a monumental task to me. Piro (electrician dispatched by JDV) was on time to appointment. He was friendly, well-motivated and professional in all our interactions. I felt clear at every step along the way as to the work being done and why. There was no pressure to upsell on options. Piro stayed in contact with his management team along the way. Often, yes. It depends on your service size and current load. Load-sharing options can let two chargers split capacity without a full service upgrade. We review your panel and recommend the simplest safe option.

Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 6 PM. If you smell burning or see sparks, turn off the main breaker if it is safe to do so, and call PECO for outages, downed lines or meter problems. Then contact us so a licensed electrician can find and repair the cause.
