Our community has supported JDV Electric for more than 20 years, and giving back is our way of saying thank you. We’re proud to support local families, organizations, and causes that make a difference in the communities we serve.
At JDV Electric, being part of the community goes beyond helping solve electrical problems. It means supporting local families, recognizing the people who make our communities stronger, and partnering with organizations that are making a difference.
From helping students prepare for a new school year to supporting local youth sports, honoring veterans, thanking first responders, and contributing to causes that spread kindness, we’re proud to give our time, resources, and support where they can make a difference.
This August, JDV Electric partnered with a local nonprofit organization to help provide essential school supplies to students in need.
Families can face added financial pressure when preparing for a new school year, especially when multiple children need new supplies. Our goal was simple: help ease that burden and make sure more students have the basic materials they need to walk into the classroom ready to learn.
Through the initiative, JDV Electric provided backpacks, notebooks, folders, pencils, pens, and other commonly requested classroom supplies. Our nonprofit partner helped coordinate distribution so those supplies could reach local students and families who needed them most.

Some of the JDV crew stopped by Child Guidance Resource Centers in Havertown to drop off school supplies for the kids and families they support every day. CGRC has been serving Delco, Chester County, and Philly families for almost 70 years, helping kids grow, heal, and thrive. We’re proud to help them start the school year off right!
Big things happening in our small town! JDV is a proud sponsor of West Side Little League and tonight, one of their teams will take the field in the Little League World Series!
JDV Electric is proud to sponsor the West Chester Girls Lacrosse team! The Golden Knights are currently holding strong at 9-6-0 and playing with heart!
We love supporting these hardworking female athletes as they chase wins, build teamwork, and represent their community with pride.
Christmas gift donation for angel tree. We provided christmas for a family of the community.
We’re thankful for the chance to provide a Christmas for a family through St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Glen Mills, PA. Being able to bring joy, comfort, and a little holiday magic to a family in our community is what this season is truly about.
Meet Bill Smeck, a U.S. Veteran and the First Vice Commander of Springfield Post 227. Bill plays an important role in preserving the dignity and visibility of Springfield’s Hometown Hero signs, a beloved tribute honoring the service members from our community. With tremendous dedication, he walks the community each month to ensure every sign is hanging properly, safely, and with the respect it deserves.
Supporting Bill’s efforts, and the legacy of our hometown heroes, JDV Electric provided the funds to replace damaged hardware so these signs can continue to hang securely and proudly.
We were proud to provide lunch to the Lansdowne Police Department for Thank a Neighbor Day. The men and women of our local police department work every day to help keep our community safe. Providing lunch was a small way for our team to recognize their dedication and say thank you for everything they do for the people they serve.
Through our Nominate a Veteran Giveaway, we invited members of the community to recognize a veteran whose service deserved to be celebrated.
Mr. Beard from Springfield was our deserving winner. We were honored to meet him and his wife, Carol, and hear more about the dedication and service that made his story so meaningful to our community.
In December, JDV Electric proudly donated to Ella’s Gifts for its holiday Wrapping Palooza. Ella was a remarkable 14-year-old who faced epilepsy with courage, humor, and strength. After her passing in August 2024, her mother, Jill, founded Ella’s Gifts to carry forward her spirit by spreading kindness throughout the community. We were honored to support this heartfelt cause and help share Ella’s light with others.
JDV Electric is proud to sponsor West Side Little League in West Chester. Youth sports give children more than a place to play. They help build teamwork, confidence, leadership, and lasting connections among players, coaches, families, and neighbors.
As a local electrician serving West Chester and surrounding communities, we’re proud to support an organization that brings local families together. We’ll be cheering on the players all season long.
Our commitment to the community doesn’t end with one event. At JDV Electric, building relationships with community organizations that understand the needs of local families is just as important to us as serving the homes that depend on us.
Looking ahead, we hope to expand our community outreach and create a lasting positive impact throughout the communities we serve. Because it’s only by becoming part of our local community that we can truly call ourselves your local electrician.
